This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and applies to all bookings made via www.mumcircleltd.com (the "Site"). By booking an event, you agree to this policy.
1. General Principles
- All event fees are payable in advance.
- Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive or unsafe.
- Cancellations are only permitted during the statutory 14-day cooling-off period (see below). After this period, no refunds or credits are available, but you may transfer your place to a friend(see Section 3).
2. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Statutory Right)
Under UK consumer law, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking confirmation during which you may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund.
- Applies to all bookings made online, by phone, or at a distance.
- To cancel, notify us in writing (email to [email protected]) within 14 calendar days of receiving your booking confirmation.
- If the event occurs within the 14-day period and you have already attended, the cooling-off right is lost for that event.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.
3. After the Cooling-Off Period
- No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or non-attendance after the 14-day cooling-off period has expired.
- This includes single sessions, term bookings, workshops, and virtual events.
- Missed sessions (due to illness, holidays, or other personal reasons) are non-refundable.
- Transfers: You may transfer your booking to a friend or family member at no extra cost, provided:
- You notify us by email at least 24 hours before the event start time.
- The replacement attendee meets any age or eligibility requirements (e.g., baby under 13 months).
- Transfers are allowed once only per booking and are non-transferable to future terms or different event types.
4. Cancellation by Mum Circle Ltd
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any event due to low enrolment, facilitator illness, venue issues, or force majeure (e.g., severe weather, national emergency).
- You will be offered a full refund or transfer to an alternative event of equal value.
- We will provide as much notice as possible via email and/or the Site.
- We are not liable for any additional costs incurred (e.g., travel, childcare).
5. Virtual Events
- The 14-day cooling-off period applies from booking confirmation.
- After this period, no refunds or credits for technical issues on your end (e.g., internet failure).
- Transfers to a friend are permitted under the same conditions as in-person events.
- Recordings (where provided) are for personal use only and do not entitle you to a refund or transfer if you miss the live session.
6. Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are **non-refundable** and **non-transferable** to cash.
- Valid for 12 months from purchase and redeemable against any Mum Circle Ltd event.
7. How to Cancel or Transfer
- To cancel during cooling-off: Email [email protected] with your booking reference, date of booking, and the statement: “I wish to cancel my booking under the 14-day cooling-off period.”
- To transfer after cooling-off: Email [email protected] at least 24 hours before the event with:
- Your booking reference
- Full name and email of the replacement attendee
- Confirmation that they meet eligibility criteria
- We aim to acknowledge within 3 working days.
8. Changes to This Policy
Mum Circle Ltd may update this Refund Policy at any time. The latest version will be posted on the Site. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
